Give thanks for the support which Falkirk Christain bookshop has had in its first 6 months of trading. Pray that it may be a successful business and effective in Christian witness and ministry.

Pray that the international community will respond quickly to the crisis in Niger where extremes of drought and floods have left 110,000 homeless and 8 million people facing starvation.
Pray that the trapped miners in Chile will know God as their refuge and strength, cslming their fears and fortifying their spirits. Also that nothing will hinder the rescue process.
