Organisations

There are many organisations within Strathbrock Parish with most of them meeting in the Church Hall. These include:

Boys' Brigade
Anchor Boys     - (Primary 1,2 & 3)     - Thursdays - 6:45 to 7:45pm
Junior Section - (Primary 4,5 & 6)     - Thursdays - 6:45 to 8:00pm
Coy Section     - (Primary 7 upwards) - Fridays     - 7:00 to 9:30pm

Girls' Brigade
Explorers  - (Primary 1,2 & 3)            - Mondays    - 6:30 to 7:30pm
Juniors     - (Primary 4,5,6 & 7)         - Mondays    - 6:30 to 7:45pm
Brigaders  - (S1 upwards)                  - Mondays    - 7:30 to 8:30pm

Guild - Meets in the hall on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7.15pm

Saturday Club - For primary 1-7 meets monthly in Strathbrock Church hall for games, crafts, music and lots of fun. Notices goes out to schools with dates.

Care Group - A group of volunteers who can provide occasional shopping, transport, practical help in the home and completing forms.

Unity Players - Drama Group (age 16+) welcomes all interested.

Craft/Flower Workshop - This takes place once a month.

Tape Ministry - Tapes of the morning services are available for anyone unable to come to church. Tape Ministry co-ordinator is Evelyn McFadyen, Telephone no. 856403.

Coffee Morning & Thrift Shop - Open 1st Friday of every month
                                                   (10 till 12 noon)

Other activities include Line dancing and Brownies
